Hi everyone, Jellico and Tugger here. We don't know much about human holidays except that they mean lots of treats and lots of loud people. But we do know that this particular holiday, Thanksgiving, is a pretty special one. Every year, our humans remember to be happy for the things that they have. Can you imagine that? Cats don't need to be reminded of this -- we're always thankful for the things we have. Have you ever seen a cat not enjoying every moment of his day?
Still, for this holiday we decided to get a hold of mom's computer and put down the things we're thankful for. Here's what we came up with.
1. We're thankful for catnip.
We know, it seems like a no-brainer, but hear us out. Before mom uprooted us and moved us halfway across the world, we were happy outdoor cats. Becoming indoor cats and growing a bit older, it became harder for us to find joy in our lives. The day mom brought home some fresh catnip for us, that changed. Not only did we become happier, it prompted mom to start Tabby James so she could make other cats happy. Catnip was the spark for a happier life for us, mom, and many other cats out there -- and we're grateful for that.
2. We're thankful for local pet food brands.
It wouldn't be the holidays without a special treat from Darwin's Pet! This local pet brand and many others like it across the US give choices to thousands of pets and pet owners. Thanks to local brands like The Honest Kitchen and Precise Pet, pet owners don't have to settle for large brand names (which, let's face it, are not always the best option). Local pet brands are the best option for conscientious cat owners, short of making your own cat food at home. We give them four paws up and a huge thanks this season, just for existing.
3. We're thankful for creative hyoomans.
Since she started Tabby James, mom's had a chance to work with a few incredible creative people. From cat beds designed by Bash Studio to awesome catnip-filled felt toys created by CC Design, these awesome creative humans keep the goodies coming. The more inspired mom gets thanks to her creative partners and friends, the more toys and cat goods we get to play-test. Oh and we suppose it's nice that other cats get to enjoy them too.
And lastly, we're grateful to be a part of such a great community of fellow cats and their humans. You keep mom smiling, and that makes us happy. Tabby James wouldn't exist without you all. Thank you!
